)
Dry the CVG with a dry cloth if any water spills outside of the tank.
)
If the CVG completely runs out of water with the steam function activated and remains
in this state for 30 seconds, it will emit 5 beeps and switch off the steam function.
Unplug the appliance and fill the water tank.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
SCALE PREVENTION SYSTEM
This CVG has an innovative built-in anti-limescale system that uses a resin filter. This keeps
limescale substances out of the water and prevents them from reaching the soleplate's
steam chamber, thus extending the life of the CVG.
Replace the resin filter for a new one every six months to keep the CVG in optimum
condition.
,
Changing the resin filter does not mean that the recommendations about water
hardness mentioned in the “BEFORE STARTING TO IRON” section can be ignored. If
you do not replace the resin filter in this CVG, it will be affected by limescale in the same
way as other ironing systems.
CLEANING AND CONSERVATION
SOLE-PLATE
1 Unplug the iron and let it cool down.
,
Use environment-friendly clay-based products to clean the sole-plate.
OUTSIDE
1 To clean the outside of your CVG, use a cloth moistened in soapy water.
,
Do not clean with abrasive chemical products or solvents as it may attack certain plastic
parts and / or remove some of the marks and / or indications.
2 Store your CVG in the vertical position, wind the cord round the heel and secure it with
the clip.
,
Although the power cord is fitted with a 360º rotational elbow, NEVER FORCE
this cord when winding it around the appliance on the first turn.
REPLACING THE RESIN FILTER (fig. 3)
,
Do not use the appliance when the tank is empty.
1 On the heel rest of the iron, rotate the wheel counter-clockwise until it reaches its limit
and the arrow is aligned with the open lock sign (approx. 180º) and pull back on the
wheel
2 To reinsert the filter, align the arrow with the open lock sign and turn clockwise, as
shown in the drawing, at the same time pressing the piece inwards until it is aligned
with the closed lock sign.
)
When the filter is in position, make sure it DOES NOT PROTRUDE from the rear end
of the CVG. Otherwise, this means you have not correctly positioned it and the water
will come out of the tank.
