9. Turn off the previous shower. The second unit should turn off. If it does not turn off, adjust the SYR
valve by turning the knob anti-clockwise until the unit turns off.
10. Open the maximum number of showers suitable for 2 x gas booster water heaters, in accordance
with the climate chart. Only the first two gas booster water heaters should be operating. If other gas
booster water heaters are operating, adjust their SYR valves by turning the knob anti-clockwise
until the unit turns off.
11. Open the next shower. The third gas booster water heater should ignite. If it fails to ignite, adjust
the SYR valve by turning the knob clockwise until the unit turns on. If other gas booster water
heaters ignite, adjust their SYR valves by turning the knob anti-clockwise until the unit turns off.
12. Turn off the previous shower. The third unit should turn off. If it does not turn off, adjust the SYR
valve by turning the knob anti-clockwise until the unit turns off.
13. Open the maximum number of showers suitable for 3 x gas booster water heaters, in accordance
with the climate chart. Only the first three gas booster water heaters should be operating. If other
gas booster water heaters are operating, adjust their SYR valves by turning the knob anti-clockwise
until the unit turns off.
14. Open the next shower. The fourth gas booster water heater should ignite. If it fails to ignite, adjust
the SYR valve by turning the knob clockwise until the unit turns on. If other gas booster water
heaters ignite, adjust their SYR valves by turning the knob anti-clockwise until the unit turns off.
15. Turn off the previous shower. The fourth unit should turn off. If it does not turn off, adjust the SYR
valve by turning the knob anti-clockwise until the unit turns off.
16. Open the maximum number of showers suitable for 4 x gas booster water heaters, in accordance
with the climate chart. Only the first four gas booster water heaters should be operating. If other
gas booster water heaters are operating, adjust their SYR valves by turning the knob anti-clockwise
until the unit turns off.
17. Open the next shower. The fifth gas booster water heater should ignite. If it fails to ignite, adjust the
SYR valve by turning the knob clockwise until the unit turns on. If the sixth gas booster water
heater ignites, adjust its SYR valve by turning the knob anti-clockwise until the unit turns off.
18. Turn off the previous shower. The fifth unit should turn off. If it does not turn off, adjust the SYR
valve by turning the knob anti-clockwise until the unit turns off.
19. Open the maximum number of showers suitable for 5 x gas booster water heaters, in accordance
with the climate chart. Only the first five gas booster water heaters should be operating. If the sixth
gas booster water heater is operating, adjust its SYR valve by turning the knob anti-clockwise until
the unit turns off.
20. Open the next shower. The sixth gas booster water heater should ignite. If it fails to ignite, adjust
the SYR valve by turning the knob clockwise until the unit turns on.
21. Turn off the previous shower. The sixth unit should turn off. If it does not turn off, adjust the SYR
valve by turning the knob anti-clockwise until the unit turns off.
22. Open the maximum number of showers suitable for 6 x gas booster water heaters, in accordance
with the climate chart. All six gas booster water heaters should be operating.
23. Commissioning is now complete. Turn off all showers and lock adjusting screw on the SYR valves.
