COMMISSIONING
All water heaters are tested and adjusted before dispatch from the factory, however further adjustments
may become necessary because of local conditions.
It is necessary to check and if required adjust the preset outlet temperature of the water heater.
PRESET OUTLET TEMPERATURE
The preset outlet temperature of the gas booster water heater must be set at 60
°
C for the system to
operate correctly. The factory default preset outlet temperature is 50
°
C for Australian models with a
manufacture date before 2007 and 60°C for Australian models with a manufacture date of 2007 or later.
New Zealand models have a factory default preset outlet temperature of 55°C. It will be necessary to
check and if required adjust the preset outlet temperature for a new installation of a gas booster water
heater.
Note:
Consideration must be given to the delivery temperature to any ablution and public areas such as
a bathroom, ensuite or public amenities. Refer to
“Hot Water Delivery”
on page 16 and to the
schematics of
“Two Temperature Zones Using A Temperature Limiting Device”
on page 17.
TO CHECK OR ADJUST THE PRESET OUTLET TEMPERATURE
It is necessary to have the electrical supply to the water heater switched on, whilst checking or
adjusting the preset outlet temperature.
Warning:
The removal of the front cover will expose 240 V wiring. Take care not to touch wiring
terminals. The adjustment must be carried out by a qualified person.

adjustment is necessary.
5. Press the MAX button, located under the DIP switches, to increase
the preset outlet temperature setting.

increment. The increments are 40

Set the display to 60.
