“Thermal diff. to switch off” – the control will deactivate when the difference between the input and
output temperatures drops under this limit.
“P-component” – in the case of a PWM-controlled circulation pump it shows the P-component of the
controller of the circulation pump power. You should increase the value only if the pump power for
the given temperature difference is insufficient and if high temperature overshoots occur during the
control.
SETTINGS TAB
It includes configuration elements for setting the controller.
NETWORK SETTINGS
It sets the parameters of the controller Ethernet connection.
“Controller IP address” – the IP address saved in the controller. The controller will listen to all UDP and
TCP/IP(HTTP) requests at this address. It is always necessary to assign a static address. The dynamic
address assignment mode (DHCP) is not supported.
“Subnet mask” – the mask of the subnet to which the controller is connected.
“Default gateway” – the IP address of the default gateway. We recommend that you use the IP
address of your router.
“Controller MAC address” – the physical (MAC) address of the controller. Change this address only if
there is a conflict of physical addresses in your local network.
“UDP port” – the port at which the controller will listen to UDP requests (HC downloader software).
“HTTP port” – the port at which the controller will listen to HTTP requests (web interface).
Caution:
The network settings will be effective after the controller has been reset (the “Reset
controller on config. write” option)!
WATTROUTER CONNECTION
It sets the parameters of the direct network connection with the WATTrouter M system via Ethernet. It is
possible to connect to only 1 WATTrouter. The data exchange is carried out via the standard HTTP/XML
protocol. By means of this connection, Heating Control determines information from the WATTrouter which is
necessary for the control of the heat pump according to the excess energy from the photovoltaic power station
and it also optionally determines the low tariff signal.
“WATTrouter IP address” – the IP address at which the selected WATTrouter M listens to incoming
network requests.
“WATTrouter HTTP port” – the port at which the controller will listen to HTTP requests (web
interface).
“Output controlling heat pump” – select a WATTrouter M output which controls the heat pump
according to the excess energy. The WATTrouter output must be external SSR1 or SSR2 and it must be
set in the PWM mode. If the heat pump is switched on by the internal control and not by the
WATTrouter, then the assumed power on the basis of the power required by the Heating Control
device is shown at the given WATTrouter output.
