Overview
•
Integrated RS485 interface.
•
Wiring at the RS485 interface of the Solar-Log™.
•
The communication address does not have to be assigned.
•
Installation steps:
•
Switch off the inverters and the Solar-Log™.
•
Connect the inverters to the Solar-Log™.
•
Connect the inverters to each other.
Connect the inverters to the Solar-Log™ (see tables below).
The wiring is done using a
•
self-made, shielded data cable and terminal block connector.
Procedure (NS/DNS series and SDT4-10KW)
1. Connect wires as shown in the diagram:

2. Pass the cable from Solar-Log™ to inverter 1 through the cable gland on the underside of the device and
connect it with terminal strip plug.
3. Plug the terminal strip plug into the RS485 terminal strip of the inverter.
4. Plug the terminal strip plug into the RS485 socket of the Solar-Log™.
Connect the inverters to each other.

Wiring via 2-pin cable with terminal strip plug.
•
Where to connect: RS485 socket in the inverter.
Procedure
1. Plug terminal strip plug into RS485 socket of inverter 1.
2. Continue wiring via RS485 socket to inverter 2 (according to manufacturer‘s instructions).
3. Plug the other terminal strip plug into the RS485 socket of inverter 2.
4. Connect the other inverters to each other in the same way.
5. Insert the terminal block connector into the Solar-Log™ RS485 socket.
6. Terminate the last inverter according to the inverter instructions.
