Select the hybrid system „QCells“ for the device detection.

Integrated interface.
•
Connected using network cable (patch cable) and Ethernet router.
•
The communication address cannot be assigned (only via DHCP).*
•
Installation steps:
•
Switch off the hybrid system and the Solar-Log™.
•
Connect the hybrid system to the Solar-Log™ (RJ45).
•
Connect the Solar-Log™ to the router.
Connect the hybrid system to the Solar-Log™
The wiring is done using a
•
network cable (patch cable/crossover cable) and the
•
Ethernet router.
*Dynamic IP address (DHCP) for detection and communication:
Both the Solar-Log™ and QCells devices have to be set to obtain their IP addresses automatically (DHCP) and be in
the same class C subnet.
Note!
Make sure that the DHCP server is set to always assign the same IP address to the QCells device. (Refer
to the router‘s manual)
Note!
All of the steps in the QCells quick start guide need to be successfully carried out in order to establish
communication between the Solar-Log™ and QCells device.
