EGO Smart Heater
Procedure
1. Open the heating rod according to its instructions
2. Connect wires as shown in the diagram below:

3. Terminate the heating rod according to its instructions.
4. Close the heating rod cover.
5. Insert the terminal block connector into the Solar-Log™ RS485 socket.
Note
To ensure that the EGO heating rod control works properly, the EGO heating rod's manual tem-
perature regulator should be set to the maximum temperature. Define the temperature that the
Solar-Log™ should control via the WEB interface of the Solar-Log™ in the
Configuration | Devices |
Configuration
menu.
