Stiebel-Eltron
You have to access the Solar-Log™ WEB interface to complete the configuration.
Subsequent procedure:
•
After the detection, Stiebel-Eltron appears as a switching device in the
Configuration | Smart Energy | Swit-
ching Groups menu
.
•
Assign the switch contact of the Stiebel heat pump to a switching group (the switch contact only needs to be
defined in the software, no hardware is required) and configure the specific control for the heat pump. For
more information on Smart Energy such as configuration, functionality and application examples, refer to
Chapter 5.2: „Controlling Heat Pumps with a Grid Company Blocking Signal“
(
https://www.solar-log.com/manuals/manuals/en_GB/SolarLog_Manual_Smart_Energy_EN_01.pdf
•
The heat pump appears in the
Diagnostics | Smart Energy | Status (current)
and
history menu
(also with
several temperature values that are retrieved and recorded from the heat pump).
Note
If the threshold configured for the surplus in the Solar-Log™ is exceeded, the heat pump receives a
protocol-level release signal. This signal is checked by the heat pump control and released there.
Note
Without the assignment of a switching group, although data from the heat pump is recorded, it is not
visualized in the web interface.
Note
DHCP is enabled by default. DHCP has to be disabled in order to manually assign an IP address (refer
to the Stiebel-Eltron manual).
Note
In order to receive data from the Stiebel-Eltron heat pump, the "Stiebel ISG" (Internet Service Gateway)
has to be installed in addition and a license is required for the existing Modbus interface in the ISG.
►
Contact Stiebel-Eltron directly regarding the license.
Note
Only one Stiebel-Eltron heat pump can be connected and visualized per Solar-Log ™.
