Overview
•
Integrated RS485 interface.
•
8-pin cable for the RS485 connection of the Solar-Log™.
•
The communication addresses (1-247) have to be assigned.
•
Installation steps:
•
Switch off the inverters and Solar-Log™.
•
Connect inverters to the Solar-Log™.
•
Connect the inverters to each other.
•
Allocate communication address.
Connect inverters to the Solar-Log™
The wiring is done using a
•
partially ready-made RJ45 cable (not included)
or
•
self-made data cable with RJ45 plug and 6-pin terminal block connector.
Caution
Risk of damage to the unit!
The Solar-Log™ also has an RJ45 socket, which must never be connected to the RJ45 socket on the
inverter.

Only connect inverters via the RS485/422 Solar-Log™ interface(s).
Procedure
1. Connect wires as shown in the diagram:

2. Run the wire from the Solar-Log™ to inverter 1 through the hole for the wire on the bottom of the unit.
3. In the inverter insert the RJ45 plug into the "RS-485 out" socket.
4. Insert the terminal block connector into the Solar-Log™ RS485 socket.
