3.3.5.
Powering up the system
This section represents the UPS system state as it unboxed with initial Factory Settings.
To power up the system:
Initial configuration consists of three stages:

Before powering the UPS
2.
Execution of the system startup wizard
3.
Installing modules in the system (one at a time)
3.3.5.1.
Before starting up the UPS
To perform infrastructure verification prior to supplying power to the UPS:

Verify proper polarity with a multimeter on external battery box terminals.
5.
Leave all battery and output circuit breakers in the OFF in position.
6.
Check to see if the bypass and rectifier input are linked. If they are linked then you have
to remove the Static Switch. If they are not linked simply keep the bypass circuit breaker
in the off position.
7.
Turn the bypass and rectifier CB on and with no power modules in the system the UPS
’s
LCD panel and bypass will switch ON automatically.
A series of screens are displayed on the control panel to enable you to perform initial
UPS system configuration.
