3 Description
3.1
Identification
The Compact Station can be identified on the basis of the information provided on the
type plate (see Section 3.4).
3.2
Safety installations
Overvoltage protection
The DC inputs of the inverters are fitted with overvoltage protection type 2. We recom-
mend an additional type 1 lightning protector for the PV generator (available as an option
for single-tracking compact stations).
Over-current protection
The AC and DC circuit breakers of the inverters are equipped with thermo-magnetic
overcurrent triggers.
Temperature limitation
For safety reasons the heat sink temperature of the inverters is limited to 85°C. At high
ambient temperatures, the heat sink temperature may reach 80°C. In such cases, the
maximum infeed power is temporarily reduced. The graphics display shows the corres-
ponding status message. When the temperature rises to 85°C the corresponding power
unit shuts down.
