5.5.3 Shutdown 2 - X511
The shutdown contact 2 (X511) is used for remote shutdown of the Compact Station via
an external break contact. The function can be compared with that of shutdown 1 except
that the mains is not disconnected via the voltage supply to the AC contactors, but via
software. The Compact Station remains blocked until the external break contact is closed
again. In addition, the graphics display shows the "Shutdown 2" status message. Shut-
down 2 is inactive when EN1 and EN2 (EN12) are short-circuited by a bridge (condition at
the time of delivery).

5.5.4 Alarm contact – X501
The alarm contact (X501) can be used to connect the status signaling contacts of gene-
rator connection boxes or overvoltage protection. When there is a short circuit at the
alarm contact (X501), the "Warrning combiner box" message appears on the graphics
display.
