10.1
Maintenance with the inverters closed
10.1.1 Checks
The following checks and maintenance can be performed with the inverter closed.

Checking the operating status on the graphics display

Check for damage caused by rain, snow, rodents etc.
10.1.2 Cleaning the ventilation grille
Unobstructed cooling is important for optimum operation of the Compact Station. The
condition of the ventilation grilles in the side panels should be checked regularly. The
ventilation grilles can also be cleaned while mains operation is ongoing. It is important to
ensure that no water can enter the Compact Station during cleaning.
Procedure
1. Fold down both air inlet flaps (see Section 3.6):
– First remove the 4 x M8 screws at the side of the air inlet flap.

Secure the air inlet flap against dropping suddenly.
– Proceed to remove the upper 2 x M8 screws.
2. Clean the ventilation grilles using compressed air.
– The ventilation grille can be lifted from its seat by lifting from below.
– If you are using filter mats, replace any soiled filter mats.
3. Fold the two air inlet flaps up and fix them using the 6 x M8 screws.
10.2 Maintenance with the inverters open

Components within the inverter are subject to high voltage.

Never open the inverters while the Compact Station is in operation.

The Compact Station must be powered down as described in Section 9
before opening the inverters.
