Bridge Hello Time.
Hello time of this particular bridge configured in Bridge
Configuration screen (1.4.1)
Bridge Forward Delay.
Forward delay of this particular bridge configured in
Bridge Configuration screen (1.4.1)
Forward Table Timeout.
The timeout period in seconds for aging out
dynamically learned forwarding information on Bridge Forwarding Table screen
(2.4.4) of this bridge. It is configured in Bridge Configuration screen (1.4.1).
Time Since Last Topology Change.
The time (in seconds) since the last time a
topology change was detected by the Bridge entity.
Topology Changes.
The total number of topology changes detected by the
bridge since the management entity was the last reset or initialized.
Checking Spanning Tree Status and Bridge Status
Checking Spanning Tree Port Status
The Spanning Tree Port Status screen (2.4.3) contains information for each
individual port state if Spanning Tree is enabled. To access this screen, type “
.243
”
and press Enter. To view the state of the next port, type “.n”
Port Number.
The physical port number or base sub port number. On a
substation, the bridge ports are 2, Ethernet port, and 3, RF port. On a base station,
the bridge ports are 2, the Ethernet port, and each individual substation number.
Port State.
The current state of this bridge port. Either in Blocking, Forwarding,
Listening or Learning.
Port Status.
This port will be enabled when configured for bridging.
Port Path Cost.
The contribution to the path cost towards the Spanning Tree root
that includes this port.
Designated Root ID.
The unique Bridge ID of the root bridge in the
Configuration BPDUs transmitted by the Designated Bridge for the segment to
which the port is attached.
Designated Cost.
The path cost of the Designated port of the segment connected
to this port. This value is compared to the Root Path cost field in received bridge
PDUs.
Designated Bridge.
The Bridge ID of the bridge that this port considers to be the
Designated Bridge for this port's segment.
