Maintenance Requirements
General Information
The safety, reliability, and performance of your vehicle will
depend partly on how well it is maintained. Maintenance is the
owner's responsibility. You must ensure that the appropriate
maintenance is performed when required and according to the
recommendations specified by ElectraMeccanica.
Regular maintenance can help protect against major repair
expenses resulting from neglect or inadequate maintenance. It
may also help to maintain the value of the vehicle if it is sold.
Owner Maintenance
Any significant or sudden drop in fluid
levels or uneven tire wear should be
rectified immediately.
In addition to the scheduled maintenance, you should carry out
a pre-drive inspection before each trip to keep your SOLO in
safe operating condition. See
While driving your vehicle, be alert if any of the following
conditions manifest and have them inspected by an
ElectraMeccanica Authorized Service Provider as soon as
possible:
Take notice of any vibrations in the steering wheel,
noticeably increased or decreased steering effort, or a
change in the steering wheel’s straight-ahead position.
When traveling in a straight path on smooth, level roads,
notice if your vehicle continuously turns slightly or pulls to
one side.
When braking, notice any unusual sounds, pulling to one
side, or noticeably increased or decreased effort while
operating the brake pedal.
