Having issues with all/any cameras via remote access

Check if the router is properly configured (cams are directly accessible) and if enough bandwidth is available (upload).

What drives can use, how many, what capacities, which RAID to should I use?
A
Drives: Use Seagate, Western Digital, or Hitachi drives, SATA I or SATA II, RAID or enterprise grade. Use one or two drives with
RAID0, RAID 1 (requires 2 drives), or Linear recording.

What do I need to play videos downloaded from my SLS-ENVR
A
We recommend VLC Player, which contains also required CODECs.

Is it possible to connect a monitor directly to the SLS-ENVR?
A
No. The SLS-ENVR is always accessed from through a PC and web browser. The browsers Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome,
and Microsoft Internet Explorer are recommended.

Does SLS-ENVR have alarm inputs and/or outputs?
A
No. But for scripting (Rules) purposes you can use digital the inputs and outputs of the connected (supported) cameras or
external I/O devices.

Why are there USB ports on my SLS-ENVR?
A
The USB interface on SLS-ENVR is reserved for future use.
