the camera has a good chance of recording it. The velocity of the crash
that prompts the automatic recording can be set with the sensitivity of
the gyroscope (
G-SENSOR
) (OFF-2G/4G/8G).
Shake protection
The unit is equipped with anti-shake protection (
Anti-Shaking
), so the
powerful movements of the camera and vehicle would be less annoying
on the recording.
Cyclical but continuous shooting
The camera always records that length recordings which has been set
in the menu, and they will be added to a continuous recording. After
using the full capacity of the memory card, only the oldest recording
cycle will be erased according to the selected duration. This ensures
that the least amount of information is lost when deleting old recordings.
Auto-delete does not work if the recording is protected.
Automatically lock important recordings
Thanks to the built-in gyroscope the camera can detect if a crash
happened. In this case it locks the presently running recording cycle
and will not delete it even if the recording continues for a prolonged
time. If the memory cards is full it will delete the oldest files in stages,
but will leave the locked one. Cameras that do not have this function
often delete the important recordings unseen by the time they become
necessary. This function can be activated in
G-SENSOR
menu point.
It the sensitivity has been set too high, recordings can be locked in
case of intensive shocking of the vehicle and the card will be full after
a time. 4G setting is recommended, 2G is more sensitive. Continuous
voice signal means that the memory card is full, because of the lot of
protected recordings. Delete the card in
FORMAT
menu point.
Manual locking of desired recordings
You can protect a live recording at any time by pressing the
LOCK
button. Blocked files get named LOCK. The
FORMAT
function clears
these and all files. If you have a card reader, you can also insert the
memory card to edit or review the recordings on a computer.
Pause recording
During recording, the blue LED next to the On / Off switch is flashing
continuously. If the phone is not connected, you can pause the
recording by briefly pressing the OK button. The blue LED lights up
continuously. After a short press again, the recording will resume after
a short beep.
CLEANING
Use a soft, dry cloth and brush for regular cleaning. Do not use
aggressive cleaners! Do not let liquids enter the interior of the product
and on the connectors! Keep the lens clean and do not scratch it!
WARNINGS
• Before using the product for the first time, please read this manual
and retain it for later reference! • Place and secure the product safely!
• Recommended memory format: FAT32. Do not use NTFS formatted
memory unit! • The memory card should only be put in or replaced when
the device is turned off! If not done so the device and the data can be
damaged. • If you leave the data storage unit in extreme heat or cold
in the vehicle, then they can become damaged. • While driving do not
do any action, that can divert your attention from the road! Operating
the unit while driving can lead to accidents. • Do not let the wires wrap
around objects. Place the wires so they do not hinder driving. Wires
that cause hindrance or those who hang onto the drive wheel, gear
shift, or brake pedal can be extremely dangerous. • Operation range
of Wi-DIRECT connection is approx. 20-40 m in open area. This value
can change in different circumstances. The camera is not available
through the internet. • The specific properties of the storage unit can
cause malfunctions, these are not the fault of the product! • Operation
of the device can be affected by software and hardware conditions
which are independent from the manufacturer. • Mobile application(s)
may be modified independently from the manufacturer of this product,
and without the knowledge of manufacturer, so proper operation is not
guaranteed in all circumstances. • The car charger contains a safety
fuse. If necessary replace it, by unwinding the cup. The original size is:
6x30 mm/F2A • Before turning it on, check so the interior temperature
is between -10°C and +40°C, as undisturbed operation is only
guaranteed in this range. Extreme weather conditions can damage the
product. • Protect from dust, humidity, heat, moisture, frost and shock,
as well as from direct heat or sunlight! • Improper installation or usage
invalidates the warranty! • Make sure that at the place of usage no
laws are restricting the usage of the product! • The built-in accumulator
cannot be removed by the user. If its lifespan has ended, the
appliance becomes hazardous waste. • This product is not designed
for professional use. • Check the mounting opportunities on your car
before purchasing! • Due to constant development, the technical data
and design can change even without prior notice. • We do not take
responsibility for the occasional printing errors, and apologize for them.
Troubleshooting
If you notice any malfunction turn off the product! Later try turning it
back on. If the problem persists, check the following list. This guide
can help in localizing the malfunction, if the device is connected as
described. If necessary contact a specialist!
There is no wireless connection
• Wrong settings on the camera and / or the mobile device.
- Check your mobile device wireless network list.
- Check if the Wi-DIRECT function is in switched on status on your
camera.
- Pair the two devices again.
- Restart the camera with the RESET button.
- Restart your mobile device.
Not appropriate display quality
• Incorrect setup in the menu.
- Check the menu for detailed setup, for example the screen resolution
or the illumination value.
- If the problem occurs only in the dark, check that night mode is turned
on. Turn it off in the daytime.
No sound, or not appropriate volume
• Incorrect setup in the menu.
- Check the menu for detailed setup, for example allowing sound
recording.
The device does not respond to button presses
• The microprocessor does not respond.
- With a pointed object, press the RESET button on the unit.
