10 Fuse replacement
WARNING:
If the test leads are left in the terminals during replacement of the fuses, they may generate a
risk of electric shock.
To replace the battery:
remove test leads from the terminals,
set the rotational function selector at
OFF
,
remove the battery,
for the
800 mA fuse
:
gently remove the old fuse and install a new one in its holder.
for the
10 A fuse
:
deflect the leg and unscrew 4 screws fixing the rear compartment cover,
gently remove the old fuse and install a new one in its holder.
re-tighten the cover
mount the battery pack.
put on the cover and tighten the fixing screws.
CAUTION!
Always use ceramic fuses of the same type (800 mA/1000 V quick-acting fuse for range
µA/mA
[SIBA 70-172-40], 10 A/1000 V quick-acting fuse for range 10 A [SIBA 50-199-06]).
WARNING:
To avoid electric shock, do not use the meter if the fuse compartment cover is not in place or is
not properly fastened.
