16 Connecting the camera to PC

Installation Guide
It is recommended to install Sonel ThermoAnalyze2 programme before connecting the
camera to PC (the camera drivers will install automatically together with Sonel Thermo-
Analyze2 software).
Installation procedure is identical on all computers regardless of the operating system.
It is recommended to close down all applications before installing the program. After in-
serting the CD containing the software (supplied with your camera) into CD-ROM drive,
installation dialog box will a
ppear. If the installation box doesn’t appear automatically,
double-
click “autorun.exe” file in the CD’s main folder. After selecting language new dialog
box will appear. Choose “thermal cameras” and then “install ThermoAnalyze2”:
The installation wizard
will initiate. Necessary system modules (of Microsoft®) will get in-
stalled first, followed by Sonel ThermoAnalyze2 software. Follow the on-screen instruc-
tions.
NOTE 1:
Without changing the default installation directory, the installation procedure will
allow the program to be installed in C: \Program files\ Sonel ThermoAnalyze2. The instal-
lation procedure will add a shortcut icon Launch Sonel ThermoAnalyze to the Desktop and
to the Start menu.
NOTE 2:
When starting the program for the first time, with the camera connected and
running in online mode, Windows Firewall alert may appear on screen. In that case, click
allow to connect to private networks:
In case the original CD supplied with the camera is missing, the software can be installed
after being downloaded from Sonel website: www.sonel.pl/en.
After the software has been installed, connect to the camera using one of the following
means.

Reading data using USB
Turn on the camera. The USB connection can be used for browsing the data stored on
the memory (built-in and SD card).
