SON200 SERIES REAR PANEL
The Rear Panels of the SON200 Series Digital Intercoms are shown below. This section describes the different connectors located on
the rear of the intercom.
RADIO INTERFACE JACK(S)
A 9-Pin D-Sub connector, which provides the attachment point for the Mobile Radio Interface Cable; the SON201 has 1 jack, the
SON202 has 2 jacks, the SON203 has 3 jacks, and the SON204 has 4 jacks.
POWER CONNECTOR
A 2-Pin connector where the Power Cable Assembly is plugged in to interface the SON200 Series Intercom to the vehicle’s power
supply.
MODULAR JACKS
The modular jacks are the connection points for the CA Cables leading from the Intercom Unit to the Base Station and Remote Head.
AUXILIARY INPUT/OUTPUT
A 3.5 mm stereo (4-conductor) jack used to bring audio (cell phone, music player, etc.) into the intercom system, and to bring Intercom
Audio and Radio Receive Audio out of the intercom system.
REMOTE INTERCOM JACK
This modular jack is the connection point from the CA Cable leading from the Intercom Unit to the Remote Head.
USB
Used for advanced programming.
