5. 4. 5. Net Cast
The Net Cast is used to store the net casting position. When the Net Cast is set, the red
flag mark appears on the ship position. The flag moves on the wake according to the
movement of the ship. When the net information is input, the net position and water depth
set by net length NF1 are displayed.
(Note) To use this function, the ship speed and bearing information is required.

(a)
Register “Net Cast” to any one of the preset keys from

(for more details, refer to Section 5. 2. 1.)
(b)
At the same time a net is cast, press the preset key in which “Net Cast” is
registered. Then, the red flag mark appears on the ship position.
(c)
Press again the preset key in which “Net Cast” is registered. Then, the red flag
mark disappears.
(Note) This function is enabled only when the red LED over the registered preset
key is turned OFF. When this function is disabled, press the preset key again.

(using this function after it is registered in the sub area
selection area of the sonar screen)
(a)
Register “Net Cast” in the sub area selection area of the sonar screen.
(b)
Place the cross cursor inside the Net Cast frame, and press the set key
of
the controller. The frame color turns pink to enable the net casting operation.
(c)
At the same time a net is cast, press the set key
of the controller. Then, the
red flag mark appears on the ship position.
(d)
The red flag mark is set → reset repeatedly each time the set key
is
pressed.
(e)
To cancel the “Net Cast” mode, place the cross cursor inside the frame of the net
cast preset key. Then, the pink color of the frame disappears and the mode is
cancelled.
