Verifying WWAN Service Provider Information
11. Verify your WWAN service provider settings for correctness. In most cases these
settings will be correct and do not have to be changed:

These settings are based on your service provider and country of operation. If
you correctly configured your service provider information in the pervious step,
these settings should be correct and do not need to be changed. In certain
situations, some steps are left blank.
12. If these settings appear to be correct, click the
Next
button to continue.
Backup (Failover) / Primary Connection Configuration
Based on the WWAN mode you chose in “Selecting the Proper WWAN Mode” on
page 28, continue to one of the following two sections:

If you selected
WWAN as a backup for the WAN Ethernet connection
,
continue to “Configuring WWAN as Failover” on page 30.
•
If you selected
WWAN is my only connection to the Internet
, continue to
“Configuring LAN Settings” on page 34.
Profile Name
Choose a friendly name for this profile, or leave the name at default.
Connection Type
Verify the correct connection type is selected. For a complete list of
connection types, refer to the latest
SonicOS Administrator’s Guide
.
Dialed Number
Verify the dial-out number your service provider requires to obtain a
WWAN connection.
User Name
Verify the correct user name for your service provider

Password
Verify the correct password for your service provider

Confirm Password
Confirm the correct password for your service provider

may be blank depending on your service provider).
APN
Verify your access point name
