Make sure that the appliance is switched off before cleaning or maintenance.
• Unplug the heater and make sure it has cooled down before you start mainte-
nance.
• Use a soft cloth to wipe away dust on the surface of the heater. If the surface
is very dirty, it can be cleaned with a neutral detergent and water (the water
should be below 50° C).
• Clean the air inlets and outlets regularly with a hoover (at least twice a year if
used regularly).
• Allow sufficient time for drying before putting back into operation.
• Never use petrol, thinner or other liquids as these can easily damage the sur-
face.
• Let the heater cool down before storing it in a cool, dry place.
Minor discoloration of the protective grating due to intensive ope-
ration is normal and does not constitute a defect.
