General Weighing Operation
1. Place the scale on a hard, level surface.
2. Press “
q
” button to turn the scale on. The display will turn
on, show “-18:888”, then zero when it is ready for use.
3. Your scale is set at the factory to weigh in pound/ounces.
To switch between pounds/ounces (lb oz), grams (g), fluid
ounces (fl.oz.) and milliliters (ml), press “UNIT” button.
4. Place the item to be weighed on the center of the platform.
The weight will display. As you add weight, the weight
displayed increases.
5. The scale will turn off automatically after approximately 3
minutes. Press and hold “
q
” button to turn the scale off
manually.
Liquid ingredient measurement:
The liquid measure feature is
suitable for all water based liquids, including wine, milk, stock,
cream etc. Note: Oils have a lower specific gravity, which will
result in a volume reading of approxi10%. If measuring
oils by volume on this scale, please adjust for this accordingly.
