7. First Start-up
Connect machine to the mains power supply
Connect the mains input socket with mains power cable (scope of delivery) to an earthed socket.
The mains voltage must match the voltage information on the rating plate of the machine.
The mains plug may only be connected to an easily accessible socket as it is considered as a disconnecting device!
Start-up
Fill cleaning liquid
1. Close the drain rotary knob (on the side of the machine) before filling the tanks.
2. Fill 2/3 of the ultrasonic tank or up to the tank marking with water.
3. Check fill level regularly during long cleaning times.
Cleaning agents
1. When selecting the cleaning chemicals, strictly pay attention to their suitability for ultrasonic application, dosage and material compatibility.
2. Flammable products are generally not permitted (explosion hazard). Acids and liquids containing chloride are not permitted
(warranty is voided).
Observe the warnings.
DANGER
Fire and explosion hazard!
Flammable liquids or solvents must never be used directly in the ultrasonic cleaning tank.
Ultrasound increases the evaporation of the liquids and forms very fine mist which can ignite at ignition sources at any time.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage to the oscillation tank!
Do not use cleaners directly in the stainless steel tank that are not approved by the manufacturer. Special acid cleaners based on corrosive acids
(e.g. hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, nitric acid) destroy the oscillation tank in a short time.
