10. Cleaning Process
11. Maintenance / Care / Repairs
Observe general safety information.
The user is responsible for checking the cleaning result.
In the case of temperature-sensitive items to be cleaned, check the temperature of the cleaning liquid as it can also heat up due to the ultrasound.
Ultrasound can damage sensitive surfaces during prolonged exposure, particularly when used with chemical cleaners.
1. Fill cleaning liquid (water and ultrasonically suitable cleaning chemicals according to % specification of the manufacturer) max. up to the tank shoulder.
Observe later displacement by the items to be cleaned!
2. Preheat cleaning bath if required for the respective cleaning task.
3. Switch on the Degas function (approx. 10 minutes) for newly prepared cleaning liquid to degas the liquid.
4. Do not place parts for cleaning directly on the tank bottom otherwise tank and items to be cleaned can be damaged due to friction!
Either use a cleaning basket, cleaning cup (filled with water + cleaning agent) or place parts suspended in the liquid.
5. Preselect cleaning time - switch on ultrasound.
6. Monitoring cleaning process: Visually inspect cleaning result. Repeat cleaning process if required.
7. Rinse items to be cleaned after the cleaning and dry if necessary. Apply corrosion inhibitor to rust-prone parts after cleaning
or rinse in a rinsing bath with addition of Sonoswiss SW-AK
ATTENTION
Always unplug the mains plug before carrying out servicing and maintenance work. Never immerse the machine in water!
In the case of repair, send the machine to the dealer or manufacturer.
Electrical Safety
For electrical safety reasons, regularly check the case and the mains power cable for damage.
Ultrasonic tank maintenance
Lime deposits in the stainless steel tank can be gently removed, for example using SW-C T 5 (operate machine with water + concentrate). Do not use
scouring agents!
