8. Potentiometer position adjustment
(1) Connect the PC to this unit and set in the test
mode of servo system. (Refer to Section 5-1.)
(2) When adjusting the S side potentiometer
position, input “S REG CLOSE
"
”
The S tension arm moves to the threading end
position.
“OK” will be displayed on the PC screen.
When adjusting the T side potentiometer
position, input “T REG CLOSE
"
”
The T tension arm moves to the threading
end position.
“OK” will be displayed on the PC screen.
(3) Input the following address.
When adjusting the S side potentiometer:
“$$C0000100
"
”
When adjusting the T side potentiometer:
“$$C0000102
"
”
Position data (HEX) of the potentiometer will
be displayed on the PC screen.

Every time “ ; ” key of the PC is pressed, the
latest position data (HEX) is displayed on the
PC screen.
When confirming if the position data (HEX)
was changed, press “ ; ” key of the PC every
time.
(4) Move the tension arm to the arrow A direc-
tion by hand and attach the positioning shaft
(tension regulator adjustment tool).
(5) Return the tension arm slowly to the arrow B
direction and contact with the positioning
shaft.
Confirm that the position data (HEX) of the
potentiometer satisfies the specification 1.

Press “ ; ” key of the PC and confirm the
latest position data (HEX).
Specification 1: 0700 (HEX)
If the specification 1 is not satisfied, perform
the steps (6) through (11).
