1-6. Modifying DA-88 Board
The following are not supplied with the unit. Get them ready.

1.
Remove the DA-88 board from the camera.
2.
Remove the following components.
C81, C84, R197, R376
3.
Solder a 15 k
Z
metal resistor at the trace of R197.
4.
Solder a 220 pF capacitor at C81 and the trace of 470 pF capacitor at the trace of C84.
5.
Cut the trace between pin 16 of IC35 and R197. (See Fig. 1.)
6.
Solder a 5 k
Z
variable resistor (RV1) between pin 16 of IC35 and R197. (See Fig. 2.)
7.
Apply a Sony bond (glue) to variable resistor RV1 to fix it.
8.
Cut the trace at pin 43 of CN1, then solder pins 43 and 44 of CN1. (See Fig.3.)
9.
Place the supplied A label onto the DA-88 board panel as shown in the figure.
10. Perform Section 2-2-8 or 2-3-9 “H Blanking Trailing-edge Phase Adjustment.”
11. When the 16:9/4:3 switchable OHB is used, remove the CN-1672 board, then install the BKP-5091
(PR-243 board) separately available instead. (Regarding installation, refer to Section 2-4.)
