Sony® algorithms to significantly reduce noise, enhance overall image detail, and optimize contrast

Advanced Contrast Enhancer circuit (ACE)
Advanced Contrast Enhancer circuit (ACE) uses real-
time image processing to dynamically improve contrast, resulting in deep blacks in darker scenes,
as well as fine details in shadows and other dark areas of the picture for a difference you can truly
see.
10-bit processor/10-bit panel
The BRAVIA XBR 7-Series HDTV combines a 10-bit processor and 10-
bit panel to create and display billions of colors. Using both a 10-bit processor and 10-bit panel allows
for 64 times the level of color expression in 8-bit panels, resulting in smoother color transitions and
helping to avoid giving the picture a “paint-by-numbers” look.
