Sony strongly recommends that you change the system administrator
password before configuring the server. For information on how to set the
administrator password, refer to “Setting or Changing the System
Administrator Password” (page 14) of this chapter.
Setting or Changing the System Administrator
Password
The administrator password is extremely important for system security. When
you access the BSV-M1 Administration Menu, be sure to change the system
administrator password before configuring the settings. Furthermore, guard the
administrator password carefully.
Set or change the system administrator password through the BSV-M1
Administration Menu.

Click “System Configuration” on the BSV-M1 Administration Menu, and
then click “Password”.
You can also directly click “Password”, which is located below “System
Configuration”.
