Front Panel Descriptions

Power switch
Press to turn ON or OFF the CD recorder.

Timer selector
Use to set the timer to playing (PLAY). When set to
PLAY, the CD recorder will start playing
automatically when the power supply is turned
ON.

Keyboard jack
Connect a PS/2 interface keyboard (sold separately)
to this jack.

PLAY MODE
Use to select the desired play mode.
• CONTINUE button
Press this button for normal play.
• SHUFFLE button
Play the tracks in random order.
• PROGRAM button
Play tracks in selected order.

REPEAT button
Press to play tracks repeatedly.

A-B (Repeat) button
Press to select Repeat A-B play.

A-PAUSE (Auto Pause) button
Pause automatically at the start of the next track to
be played.

Remote sensor
Operate by pointing the supplied remote control at
this sensor.

Disc insertion tray
Insert the disc here.

CD-R indicator
Lit when a CD-R is detected.

CD-RW indicator
Lit when a CD-RW is detected.

ERASE button
Press to erase tracks, whole discs, or to unfinalize.

FINALIZE button and FINALIZE indicator
Press to finalize. When a finalized disc is inserted,
the indicator is lit.

Display window
Shows the status of the CD recorder.

DISPLAY button
Press to switch to display between disc information
and track time information.

Press to start Music Synchro-recording.

MENU/NO button
Use to select the Setup menu.
On the state of setup menu mode, press MENU/
NO button, and the mode is reset.

AMS control (PUSH ENTER)
Turn to locate tracks and select the input
characters.
Pressing this control can confirm playback or Setup
menu selection.

Confirm the Setup menu selection.

NAME button
Press to switch to name input mode.

CHAR button
Select the type of character to be input uppercase
letters, lowercase letters and number.

CLEAR button
Clear the characters and program that has been
