This connection will allow you to enjoy the surround effects of the Dolby Surround (Pro Logic)
decoder on your amplifier (receiver). If you have an AV amplifier (receiver) equipped with a
Dolby Digital, MPEG audio, or DTS decoder, refer to page 23.
You can enjoy the Dolby Surround effects only when playing Dolby Surround audio or multi-
channel audio (Dolby Digital) discs.
This connection needs a minimum of 3 speakers (front L and R, and rear (monaural)). The
surround effects are enhanced if 6 speakers (front L and R, centre, rear L and R, and subwoofer)
are used.
