Connector Sections

Black burst output section
B B OUT 1 to 4 (black burst output signal 1 to
4) connectors (BNC type)
Output black burst signals generated by the built-in
sync signal generator.
The same signals are output from all 4 connectors.
Connect these signals to the reference video input
connectors (REF. VIDEO IN, GENLOCK IN, SYNC
IN, etc.) of your source VCRs to synchronize the
source VCRs and this unit.

PRINTER connector (D-sub 25-pin)
Connect a printer to print edit data. Connect a printer
equipped with a Centronics compatible interface.
Printer driver software is required to control the
printer. For details refer to the operating instructions of
your printer and the descriptions of the Print Manager
in your Windows NT manual.

COM 1 (serial COM port 1) connector (D-sub 9-
pin)
Connect a tablet for use as a drawing input device.

COM 2 (serial COM port 2) connector (D-sub 9-
pin)
Connect an external computer or modem. Use to
exchange data with external equipment over the RS-
232C interface.

KEYBOARD connector (mini DIN 6-pin)
Connect the supplied keyboard.

MOUSE connector (mini DIN 6-pin)
Connect the supplied mouse.

DISPLAY MONITOR connector (D-sub 15-pin)
Connect an optional computer monitor.
Connect a monitor that supports a vertical refresh rate
of 75 Hz at a resolution of 1024
×
768 pixels.

ETHERNET connector (option)
This connector is attached to the ESBK-7052 Ethernet
Option board. Connect an Ethernet cable to exchange
graphics and edit data with other equipment over an
Ethernet network.
