Slow flashing
• Free spaces for recording images are
running out. For the flash memory unit
you can use with your camcorder, see
page 24.
• No flash memory unit is attached
(p. 24).
Fast flashing
• There are not enough free spaces for
recording images. Delete unnecessary
images (p. 61), or format the flash
memory unit (p. 63) after storing the
images on other media (p. 83).
• The image database file may be
damaged (p. 65).

• The flash memory unit is damaged.
• The flash memory unit is not formatted
correctly (p. 63).

• The image database file may be
damaged. Check the database file by
pressing the MENU button, then select

• If the message still appears, reconnect

device, the external media device may
be incompatible with your camcorder,
or damaged. Replace it with a new one.
* When [BEEP] is set to [ON] (p. 81), you hear a
melody when the warning indicators appear on
the screen.
If messages appear on the screen, follow the
instructions.
