4-9. IR Learning
Procedure:
1. Enter the service DIAG mode.
(Refer to “1. Entering Method of The Service DIAG Mode” on
page 25)
2. Rotate the selector knob to select the “9. IR Learning”.
3. Press the [ENTER] key to enter the “9. IR Learning” mode.
9.IR Learning

3. Back to Main Menu
4-9-1. IR out Check
It can check the IR code output.
Procedure:
1. Prepare the BD player (model name example: BDP-S350), and
install it so that the remote control receiver faces the front side
of the main unit.
2. Enter the “9. IR Learning” mode.
(Refer to “4-9. IR Learning”)
3. Rotate the selector knob to select the “1. IR out Check”.
4. Press the [ENTER] key to enter the “1. IR out Check” mode.

2. Back to Main Menu
5. Rotate the selector knob to select the “1. IR out (BD-Player
Tray)” and press the [ENTER] key.
6. BD-player tray open/close code is outputted once, tray of BD-
player is opened.

It can check the learning function.
Procedure:
1. Enter the “9. IR Learning” mode.
(Refer to “4-9. IR Learning”)
2. Rotate the selector knob to select the “2. Learning Check”.
3. Press the [ENTER] key to enter the “2. Learning Check”
mode.

Waiting for IR Code...
4. Send the remote control code that you want memorized to the
remote control receiver of the main unit.
(Hold the remote commander 2

3 cm away from the remote
control receiver, point the remote commander toward the re-
mote control receiver, and then press and hold the remote com-
mander key)
5. The result of remote control code receive “OK” or “NG” is
displayed on the liquid crystal display.

Back to IR Learning Menu
4-10. Quit
Rotate the selector knob to select the “10. Quit” and press the [EN-
TER] key, service DIAG mode is released.
