MULTI FREEZE Settings – 26
This function makes a grid of size-reduced freeze pictures. The
input image is frozen as the effect passes each keyframe.
In the FREEZE & RECUR menu, press F6 (MULTI FREEZE) to
display the MULTI FREEZE menu.

MULTI FREEZE menu soft key indications
The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Toggling the “multi-freeze” function on and off – F1 (MULTI
FREEZE)
Press F1 (MULTI FREEZE).
When this is on, the following settings are enabled.
Selecting the position of the frozen image on the grid
To select the position of the frozen image within the videospace,
set the transformation mode as follows, and move the input image
to the required position.
• In the source coordinate space: LOC XYZ or LOC SIZE
• In the target coordinate space: LOC XYZ
Note
It is not possible to carry out operations other than translation
movement, such as rotation or zoom. The global channel
parameter settings are also not reflected.
Selecting the number of freeze insert pictures – F3 (NUMBER)
Press F3 (NUMBER) and select 4, 9, 16 or 25 pictures.
Deleting the afterimage remaining in memory at each keyframe
– F4 (RESUME RECUR)
Press F4 (RESUME RECUR), turning it on.
Each time the effect passes a keyframe, the recursive memory is
cleared, before writing the freeze frame.
