Setup Operations
These settings assign the key signal to be selected automatically
when a particular video signal is selected.
After making this assignment, the automatic selection will be
carried out when F6 (AUTO KEY SELECT) in the IN/OUT
SELECT menu (see page 6-4) is set to “ON”.
With the second set of soft key indications shown in the SETUP &
DIAG menu, press F3 (AUTO KEY SELECT) to display the
AUTO KEY SELECT menu.

The following operation is carried out in this menu.
Assigning the key signal to a video signal
Use the following procedure.

Use one of the following methods to display the input button
number for the video signal for which the setting is to be made
at the “Input Video” item.
• Press F2 (
J
) or F3 (

) to increment or decrement the
number.
• Press F1 (INPUT VIDEO), then enter the button number
using the numeric keypad.

Use one of the following methods to display the input button
number for the key signal to be assigned to the video signal
selected in step
1
, at the “External Key” item.
• Press F6 (

) or F7 (
j
) to increment or decrement the
number.
• Press F5 (EXTERN KEY), then enter the button number
using the numeric keypad.
This assigns the key signal.
