This chapter describes how to record when conducting meetings using the HD
VISUAL COMMUNICATION SERVER.
Methods for recording meetings include accessing RSOnline and connecting
to a meeting from the recording server to record (“caller” method), and
connecting to the recording server from a meeting to record (“call destination”
method).
Recording Meetings via RSOnline
Access RSOnline and call the meeting to start recording using this method.
This method starts recording with the HD RECORDING SERVER in the
“caller” role.
Anyone that can access RSOnline can record using this method, regardless of
HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION SERVER user privileges.

Access RSOnline, log in, and select the [Recording Setting] menu.
The [Recording Setting] screen contains the following setting items.

Entry method Specify the type of entry for the entry field.
Input H.323 Alias:
Select this to start recording
by specifying an H.323 alias.
Input E.164 Number:
Select this to start
recording by specifying an E.164 number.
Input IP Address:
Select this to start recording
by specifying an IP address.
The default setting is [Input H.323 Alias].

Entry field
Specify the H.323 alias, E.164 number, or IP
address of the meeting or H.323 terminal you
want to record.
Enter the value specified by the entry method
setting.
