Since the MAS-A100 has a Dante audio output, D/A conversion is required to connect
to an existing analog speech reinforcement audio system. In addition, in
environments where a Dante-compatible DSP is installed, the Dante audio and the
audio system for speech reinforcement can be connected directly using digital audio
signals.
Speech reinforcement level adjustment
During installation, use the MAS-A100 test signal to adjust the audio system settings
so that the speech can be reinforced with optimum volume, and then calibrate the
audio system with those fixed settings.
Design the audio system so that volume adjustment of the audio system for speech
reinforcement (channel volume, master volume) for the audio signal from the
MAS-A100 is not possible during normal operation. To make volume adjustments
during normal operation, use the MASM-1, the web interface of each MAS-A100 unit,
or the external control API.
Signal processing
Insertion of non-linear processing, dynamic processing, user-controlled volume
adjustment, and audio quality adjustment functions between the MAS-A100 and the
speech reinforcement loudspeakers is not recommended.
If connecting to the microphone input of a speech reinforcement system, the system
may not function normally due to non-linear processing of devices, such as a feedback
canceler, automixer, noise gate, etc.
If you cannot exclude these functions, check the sound quality carefully.
