This result shows that sound from the audience in the rear seats will be difficult to
capture. If necessary, consider installing additional MAS-A100 units to capture the
sound from the audience.
Also, the results show the prohibited distance from the MAS-A100 within which
loudspeakers should not be installed.
When determining the position of speech reinforcement loudspeakers, avoid
installation within the prohibited area and install loudspeakers so that their directivity
is not facing the MAS-A100. If there is an existing loudspeaker within the installation
prohibited range, change the wiring so that the speech reinforced sound from the
MAS-A100 is not emitted from the loudspeaker.
Based on the above results, 85 dB SPL speech reinforcement can be achieved
throughout the lecture room by installing six loudspeakers (87 dB SPL/W/m 120
degrees) and avoiding the prohibited area.
