SDI OUTPUT (serial digital video/audio output)
connectors 1 to 8 (BNC type)
Output the serial digital video/audio signals.
Notes
• Video/audio signals are not output when the BKMA-
1020 input processor board is used.
• When the BKMA-1040 high-speed I/O processor
board is mounted, connector 7 is used for the
duplication port output connector (SDDI signals) and
connector 8 does not function.
5
REMOTE connectors 1 to 8 (D-sub 9-pin,
conforming to RS-422A standards)
For control of the input/output signals of the respective
ports. Connect them to the RS-422A connectors of
editing units.
6
SBX INPUT connectors (BNC type)
Connect them to the SBX OUT connectors of the HDD
array units. Connect the array units for video to the 1
to 5 connectors and the array unit for audio to the
AUDIO connector.
7
SDDI MONITOR connector (BNC type)
Outputs the component serial digital signal for input/
output monitoring when the BKMA-1040 is installed.
At a speed higher than the normal (1-time) speed, an
appropriate number of frames of video and audio
signals will be skipped.
8
SBX OUTPUT connectors (BNC type)
Connect them to the SBX IN connectors of the HDD
array units. Connect the array units for video to the 1
to 5 connectors and the array unit for audio to the
AUDIO connector.
