Key Setting Operations
with the Key Control
Block
This section describes the basic procedures for key settings
using the key control block.

Video Processing
You can adjust the luminance and hue of the selected key
fill signal.
For example, to apply video processing to the signal
selected on the M/E-1 bank key 1 fill bus, use the
following procedure.

In the M/E-1 >Key1 menu, select HF7 ‘Video
Process.’
The Video Process menu appears.

Press [Video Process], turning it on.

Adjust the following parameters.
To return adjustment values to their defaults
Press [Unity].

To select [M/E 4] or [M/E 5], [Key5] to [Key8], and
[DSK5] to [DSK8] in the key control block, a previous
assignment in the Setup menu is required
Selecting the Bank and Keyer
To make key settings, first select the bank (from M/E-1 to
M/E-3 and PGM/PST) and keyer, then assign them to the
key control block.
For example, to set key 1 on M/E-1 with the key control
block, use the following procedure.

Using the M/E delegation buttons in the key control
block, press the [M/E 1] button, setting it on.

Using the key delegation buttons in the key control
block, press the [KEY1] button, setting it on.
This assigns the key control block to M/E-1 key 1.
