Click Connect.
The information is saved and connection is made
to the selected Access Point. The Nickname of the
selected Access Point is displayed in the Wireless
Palette.
If an error message is displayed, the information
you entered contains an error. Go back and repeat
step 3 through step 5.
To establish a wireless LAN environment
without using the Access Point (Peer to Peer
mode)
To establish a wireless LAN environment without
using the Access Point, follow the steps in this section
on only one of the computers on the wireless LAN. On
the other computers, perform the procedure described
in the section, “To establish communications with the
Access Point” on page 56.

Select Peer to Peer and specify Channel.
For Channel, select a channel you want to use for
wireless communications.

Enter the Access Point ID and the Encryption Key.
Enter up to 32 alphanumeric characters for the
Access Point ID.
Enter five alphanumeric characters for the
Encryption Key.
