(6) When installation is completed, the system is automatically restarted for the second time. At the
second restart, the installation process is completed.

Time required for installation depends on the specifications of the installed PC. When DL360 G4 by
HP is used, it takes about 10 minutes for the first restart, and about 30 minutes for the second,
totaling about 40 minutes.
(7) If installation is successfully completed, Transfer Manager automatically starts up at the second
restart.
Figure 6 shows a sample screen at startup.

Login prompt and the startup message of Transfer Manager
TM-MediaVenue1 login: Shows the login prompt. (TM-MediaVenue1 is a host name that has
been set.)
Starting (Waiting for FM): Shows the startup message of Transfer Manager.
You can check whether Transfer Manager has started up or not by confirming these messages. If
they are displayed, you can see that the installation has been successfully completed.
After checking the successful startup of Transfer Manager, connect to the Local Ethernet and the
Fibre Channel cable, and set all the environments including FM and I/O Box, then restart Transfer
Manager-PC. After restarting the PC, messages appear as shown in Figure 7.

If the message “Started” appears on the screen, Transfer Manager is running successfully.
