SECTION 3 - UPDATES AND ADJUSTMENTS
RESETTING THE ORIGINAL REMOTE COMMANDER
If the original Remote Commander
was
with the Network Media Player,
reset the Remote Commander.
30. Press and hold the following buttons on the Remote Commander:
Fn
Back
Mute
(The MUTE button is on the side of the Remote Commander.)
Mute
Back
Fn
31. Continue holding the buttons for a few seconds until the LED on
the side of the Remote Commander blinks twice slowly.
NOTE: There should be more time between each blink than the
normal LED blinks that occur when using the Remote Commander.
32. Turn
OFF
the Network Media Player.
RESETTING A NEW REMOTE COMMANDER
If the original Remote Commander
was not
with the Network Media Player,
a new Remote Commander must be first paired to confirm it works, and
then reset.
PAIRING THE REMOTE COMMANDER
These steps must be used to verify the Remote Commander pairs with the
Network Media Player.
30. Turn the Network Media Player
ON
.
31. Using a thin, sharp object, such as the point of a pen or small
screw driver, press and hold the
Connect
button on the bottom of
the Network Media Player.
32. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the pairing.
33. Turn
OFF
the Network Media Player.
34. Disconnect the AC Power Cord from the Network Media Player.
35. Proceed to
Completing a Factory Reset and Up-Pair the
COMPLETING A FACTORY RESET AND UP-PAIR THE REMOTE
COMMANDER
36. Power on the Network Media Player by plugging it into an AC
power source (typical residential AC power source only) and allow
the Network Media Player to boot completely until the
Home
menu
displays.
37. Using a thin, sharp object, such as the point of a pen or small
screw driver, press and hold the
Connect
button (located on the
bottom of the Network Media Player) down for 10 seconds.
38. Release the
Connect
button.
Wait 10 to 15 seconds until the
Android System Recovery
screen
displays.
