SIP (UC) will be supported in future version updates.
Restrictions when using SIP (UC) connections
• The Communication System supports only the audio/video communication
function of Microsoft Lync Server.
• Connecting to Microsoft Lync Server and conducting multipoint
conferences is not possible.
• The distinguishing features of Lync (e.g., hold transferring, chat, application
sharing) and the distinguishing features of PCS (e.g., annotation,
presentation, far end camera control) cannot be used.
• When the optional PCSA-MCG109 HD MCU software is installed on a PCS
terminal, up to one Lync client and up to seven other terminals (not main)
can be connected to the PCS terminal via IP. (Connection to Lync clients is
limited to one.)
