Backlight compensation
(BACKLIGHT)
Use the following procedure to compensate for
backlighting if the subject appears dark due to a
light source behind the subject.

To cancel backlight compensation
Press the same assign button, turning it off

On the BRC-H900, to turn the AE button off, also
turn this function off.
Flicker compensation (FLICKER)
Use the following procedure if there is any flicker
in the image of the subject due to the effects of
fluorescent lighting or other light sources.

Adjusting the white balance
Position a white object under the same lighting
conditions as the subject you want to shoot, and
zoom in on it on the screen. (You can use a white
wall or other object.)
The white balance is adjusted against the white
object.
