Copying Data To/From Your Computer to Your
Tablet Device
If you connect a computer to your tablet device using the Micro-USB cable sold separately, you can
copy data on a computer to your tablet device. The copied data can then be played back on your
tablet device.
For customers using Windows Vista/Windows 7
1.
Start your computer.
2.
Connect your tablet device to your computer with a Micro-USB cable sold separately.
3.
Click the Start button to display the start menu.
4.
Click [Computer].
5.
Double-click [Sony Tablet P].
6.
Double-click [SD Card].
The folder list of your tablet device screen is displayed.
Note
The displayed device name varies depending on your computer operating system,
version, or Google Android operating system.
7.
Drag and drop the data that you want to copy to the folder list of your tablet device, or copy
and paste it.
Note
Do not remove the Micro-USB cable during copying data. That may cause the data to be
damaged.
The copied data is stored on the microSD memory card. You cannot change the destination to
store the data.
Only copied data in supported file formats can be played back on your tablet device.
Your tablet device cannot copy some content.
