Displaying the karaoke information
Press DISPLAY when the KARAOKE ON/OFF switch is set to ON. The
karaoke information appears on the TV screen. If you press DISPLAY once
more, the remaining tape length and time counter will also appear.
To turn off the display, press DISPLAY again.
Changing the pitch (Key Control)
While you are singing, you can
change the pitch of the song to
match your vocal range.

Notes
• If you set KARAOKE ON/OFF to OFF, the list settings are cleared.
• When you turn off the unit, the unit exits the KARAOKE PROGRAM mode.

SEARCH AMS/INDEX while in Karaoke Program
mode, the unit does not search beyond the current song, but rewinds the tape to the
beginning of the song being played back, or fast-forwards to the next song. When
the unit exits KARAOKE PROGRAM mode,

returns to its normal function. (See “Searching with the AMS or index function” on
page 30.)
• If you press CHOI on the microphone and rewind past the beginning of the current
song, the selected song order may not be played correctly.
