Playing a tape in various
modes
You can play the tape in various modes:
•Repeat (Repeat Play) repeats the current
track.
•NR (Dolby NR) lets you select the Dolby

NR
B system.
•Metal lets you play a metal or CrO
2
tape.
•B.Skip (Blank Skip) skips blanks longer than
eight seconds.
•ATA (Automatic Tuner Activation) turns on
the tuner automatically when fast-winding
the tape.

Tips
• If you select the mode using the buttons on the
unit, press

(REP) repeatedly until the desired
mode appears.
• During repeat playback, press
(MODE)
. “REP”
disappears from the display and repeat mode is
cancelled.
